You Have an Unsolved Problem
How can I solve my problem effectively?
- When in Pain, PAUSE: First of all, if the problem you have is
intense and painful, pause instead of engaging in victim behavior.
- Heal the Pain: Face, feel and heal your pain. At least, reduce
the intensity of your pain enough to refrain from engaging in victim behavior.
The use your best thinking and express your positive values.
- Expand Your Thinking: Explore other ways of expanding your thinking
- Prevent the Problem from Re-occurring: Then you can go to the
person who can help to solve the problem and request help. From there you
can negotiate towards a multiple-win solution. (Use Requesting and Negotiating
skills under Leadership Behaviors.)
